NEW {dot} com Site Launch :: Hawthorn Threads - GIVEAWAY

Super News my fellow fabric junkies. I am sure you have all heard me rant and rave about how much I loved Charlie and Lindsay over at Fabric supplies on Etsy. The customer service those two give is absolutely phenomenal. After much success on etsy, they have outgrown the small little shop you all know as Fabric Supplies. But wait... There is Great news

Charlie and Lindsay launched a new website Hawthorn Threads late last month, with a more user friendly environment. Now they are offering more beautiful fabrics, tiered pricing for loyal customers, photo uploads for your projects made with there fabrics as well as including the link to your Etsy shop (how cool is that). You can now view what is in stock and how many yards are available. You can shop by color, designer, theme, collection, etc. The site Hawthorn Threads is truly genius. Extremely fun to shop on, I admit I have already made a few purchases because it's so much fun, and the fabrics are just beautiful. (shhh, don't tell my husband) ;)

I could seriously blog about this shop all day, but I will let you have some time though to go check it out for yourself. Hawthorn Threads is providing a generous offer to all of you as well. In celebration of the new site launch, they are giving away a 1/2 yard set of Holiday Magic; 6 prints, 3 yards total by Studio E . Yummy Christmassy goodness huh!

So Go ahead... Click over to visit them. Then come back here and leave a comment on what your favorite feature, or fabric was about the site, or maybe something you would like to see them offer. Do this and we will enter you in this wonderful giveaway from Charlie and Lindsay over at Hawthorn Threads to win a 6 half yard fabric bundle by Studio E.

  44. That site is AWESOME. I've never been impressed with a blog for sales, like I have with that one. great layout and fun to search through. My fave was the sections b/c I've been looking for a pattern for a while now and they have it, AND it's free shipping!

My fave feature is that when you go back, the options mix around so you always have a chance to see something new at the top.

  63. Hawthorne's online shop is wonderful. They have all the fabric lines/designers in collections and not just 1 or 2 in a line. It's the kind of selection where you could spend hours deciding who to buy, the designs are fresh and all the fabrics are desireable. I like not having the "text only" or old fashioned store selection. There's is fast and easily viewable. The only thing I would change is to have their sale section broken down into 1 more level with pricing categories. It is always nice to have a seriously clearance section for those times when you need a bit for a fix and don't really have much money. Sorry so long, lot's to say!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Wow, now why can't every fabric site be like that? Just one long page of photos of everything, arranged by collection. I wish all sites could arrange things that way.

    ReplyDelete
  65. And i'm a follower by having you on the left side of my blog.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Love the new fabric shop! I am going to have an awful time finding 'the one', since there's so much great stuff to choose from. Copied the site for my Fav websites on my blog. Also signing up for the news letter. Thanks for sharing!! ; )

  69. I love how easy their site is to navigate. I found all the info I needed in just a few seconds. The shipping prices are great and the fabric selection is fantastic. I loved their etsy store so I'm sure I'll earn the loyalty prices in no time ;).

  71. This is a great site Terri! I went over there yesterday, and love how you can find fabrics by color - such a great feature! I'm resisting the temptation to spend money - just bought our first house and it needs a lot of work before I can add the fun things...

I would love it if fabric could be sorted by price (especially on the sales page). 140. Wow, their site is awesome! So easy to navigate. I think that's my favorite feature. I've had difficulty finding a fabric shop online as good as bee square fabrics since it closed down. I'd have to say the ease of navigation is my favorite feature, although tiered pricing is pretty sweet as well! (And I'm a sucker for a sale section!)

I also already follow your blog. I will be signing up for their newsletter and linking back to this giveaway post on my blog and on facebook and twitter.

I only wish that I could buy something, but alas, we're moving in two months so there will be no more fabric purchases until that's over! (Which is why it would be sweet to WIN some!)

  155. I created an account and I'm so excited! My favorite part is being able to choose which color you're shopping for. My second favorite part is the color-related search results that pop up when you're looking at a fabric. My third favorite part is all the red and aqua fabrics I was able to find in under thirty seconds!

  156. I forgot to say, I also blogged about the giveaway. I tried to put the button on my page but apparently I lost what few brain cells I have left over (from too much crafting today) and can't figure out how. So I linked to Hawthorne Threads, and here, instead.
