Charlie and Lindsay launched a new website Hawthorn Threads late last month, with a more user friendly environment. Now they are offering more beautiful fabrics, tiered pricing for loyal customers, photo uploads for your projects made with there fabrics as well as including the link to your Etsy shop (how cool is that). You can now view what is in stock and how many yards are available. You can shop by color, designer, theme, collection, etc. The site Hawthorn Threads is truly genius. Extremely fun to shop on, I admit I have already made a few purchases because it's so much fun, and the fabrics are just beautiful. (shhh, don't tell my husband) ;)
I could seriously blog about this shop all day, but I will let you have some time though to go check it out for yourself. Hawthorn Threads is providing a generous offer to all of you as well. In celebration of the new site launch, they are giving away a 1/2 yard set of Holiday Magic; 6 prints, 3 yards total by Studio E . Yummy Christmassy goodness huh!
So Go ahead... Click over to visit them. Then come back here and leave a comment on what your favorite feature, or fabric was about the site, or maybe something you would like to see them offer. Do this and we will enter you in this wonderful giveaway from Charlie and Lindsay over at Hawthorn Threads to win a 6 half yard fabric bundle by Studio E.

ReplyDeleteThat site is AWESOME. I've never been impressed with a blog for sales, like I have with that one. great layout and fun to search through. My fave was the sections b/c I've been looking for a pattern for a while now and they have it, AND it's free shipping!
ReplyDeleteMy fave feature is that when you go back, the options mix around so you always have a chance to see something new at the top.

ReplyDeleteHawthorne's online shop is wonderful. They have all the fabric lines/designers in collections and not just 1 or 2 in a line. It's the kind of selection where you could spend hours deciding who to buy, the designs are fresh and all the fabrics are desireable. I like not having the "text only" or old fashioned store selection. There's is fast and easily viewable. The only thing I would change is to have their sale section broken down into 1 more level with pricing categories. It is always nice to have a seriously clearance section for those times when you need a bit for a fix and don't really have much money. Sorry so long, lot's to say!
ReplyDeleteWow, now why can't every fabric site be like that? Just one long page of photos of everything, arranged by collection. I wish all sites could arrange things that way.
ReplyDeleteAnd i'm a follower by having you on the left side of my blog.
ReplyDeleteLove the new fabric shop! I am going to have an awful time finding 'the one', since there's so much great stuff to choose from. Copied the site for my Fav websites on my blog. Also signing up for the news letter. Thanks for sharing!! ; )

I really like the tiered pricing. That is very cool!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great site Terri! I went over there yesterday, and love how you can find fabrics by color - such a great feature! I'm resisting the temptation to spend money - just bought our first house and it needs a lot of work before I can add the fun things...
ReplyDeleteHawthornes looks lovely. I was so glad to get their email the other day. beautiful, and I love looking at fabrics from all available they way them have it laid out. thanks for another chance to win>
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for pointing us to this site, I love their setup and fabrics available!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite feature is being able to search fabrics by shade, that help a heck of a lot when trying to stick to a color scheme!

Too fun! I checked out their website yesterday, I love it! I love the tiered pricing for loyal customers. What a great feature! I would love it if fabric could be sorted by price (especially on the sales page). It would be ideal if we could see price on the main page instead of having to click into the swatch to see the price.

ReplyDeleteOh, I like the wild dots in natural - it would be fun to make a little wristlet out of that, with a coordinating lining... and to pick up some of the design on the fabric with some embroidery, to add dimension and texture. Fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the shop by color where I can CLICK in the color I want. That is very cool.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see where you could buy a fat quarter, or a note that a quarter yard will automatically be done as a fat quarter. There is also no FAQ on the site. (just as an FYI)

ReplyDeleteI put the picture of the giveaway to my blog with a link back to this post Oh, I wish to be the lucky one :)
ReplyDeleteWow, their site is awesome! So easy to navigate. I think that's my favorite feature. I've had difficulty finding a fabric shop online as good as bee square fabrics since it closed down. I'd have to say the ease of navigation is my favorite feature, although tiered pricing is pretty sweet as well! (And I'm a sucker for a sale section!)
ReplyDeleteI also already follow your blog. I will be signing up for their newsletter and linking back to this giveaway post on my blog and on facebook and twitter.
I only wish that I could buy something, but alas, we're moving in two months so there will be no more fabric purchases until that's over! (Which is why it would be sweet to WIN some!)
Be blessed!
wow...not only is your fabric just fantastic but this has been the easiest site to maneuver around...well done! would be a honor to make something with your fabric :)
ReplyDeleteThey have a great site - I especially love the Color Search feature, which looks like it will make it easy to find coordinating fabrics that aren't actually in the same fabric line.

ReplyDeleteHow nice when a couple can work together! I really like their new blog. Please enter me in your giveaway. What a wonderful collection!
ReplyDeleteVery well done website. Love the bundles as well as the status on how much fabric is available.
ReplyDeleteI love the gray and blue layout. It's so relaxing and pretty! And their Tiered Pricing? Verrry nice!
ReplyDeleteI posted the button on my blog. Really, I just love the gray and blue!
ReplyDeleteI created an account and I'm so excited! My favorite part is being able to choose which color you're shopping for. My second favorite part is the color-related search results that pop up when you're looking at a fabric. My third favorite part is all the red and aqua fabrics I was able to find in under thirty seconds!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say, I also blogged about the giveaway. I tried to put the button on my page but apparently I lost what few brain cells I have left over (from too much crafting today) and can't figure out how. So I linked to Hawthorne Threads, and here, instead.
