For the love of solids

I am thrilled to finally reveal this little project I made for the love of solids swap. This was my first time participating, and the bar was pretty high. There are some pretty creative people in this group. My partner asked for a few things.  A sewing machine cover, or a wall hanging were among the options. I decided to make this a little versatile, and that was it could be used for both.

Measurements were not given for this persons sewing machine so I had to do a little detective work. After I found out what machine they had, I went to a local dealer and measured it. The lady in the store thought I was weird, and asked if I was worried it might not fit somewhere. When I told her the truth, she thought I was even crazier.

I really love how this reversible sewing machine cover came out. I really hope my partner gets much joy from using it.

You can view the colors I used to create this here

HAPPY SEWING!!

P.S. if Anyone knows Jackie who won the Superior Threads giveaway, I have had no luck getting a hold of her. This is her profile. Jackie.
(Thank you )

  1. I love the thread detail on the reels - your partner will love it. I could pretend Jackie is my Canadian alter-ego if that helps you mail the thread on!

  3. What an awesome project! Love that you made it versatile, that it could be either/or cover or wallhanging. The colours are awesome.

Hope you track down Jackie! I checked her profile and there's not a whole lot to go on there, unfortunately.
