Ohh Pretties...

My Package came today from Fabric Supplies. My eyes just gazed in amazement for a few minutes. How cool is this fabric. The first time I saw it I had to have it that minute. Lucky for me they ship fast.

This is a brand new collection From Robert Kaufman. The line is called Monaluna Birds in Spring the Metro Market Line From What I hear there is another line that coordinated with this one called Spring Mingle.

I have yet to decide what I will do with this fabric, I just had to have it. I am sure it will eventually be something great. This fabric was destined to fester in my closet-o-fabric until my inspiration discovers it's destination.

****************************

On a Funny note.. I came across this today and the blog owner gave me permission to post it as well.
It was printed in a Baltimore newspaper, and drawn/written by an elementary student and her embarrassed mother.

Dear Teacher,I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot. From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.

Sincerely, Mother
