PTS 7 Sneak Peak

That sickness hit our house! We all got sick just right after my birthday and are just now feeling a little more to par. Two weeks of that stuff and I was done, so happy to get back to my sewing machine for a few fun projects.
After sitting on the sidelines for many swaps last year, I could not hold it in any longer. I joined up on the Pillow Talk swap for round 7. I can't really give you tons of info on my partner, because many clues could give them away. I am crossing my fingers that this lovely stack is taking me in the right direction for them.

Chevron's are kind of hot right now, so I went with a simple modern style and added a few embroidery stitches to jazz it up and fill in some of the white empty space. Before this experiment, I would have never thought to put brown with aqua and yellow. Glad I did cause I love the combo.

I have also successfully busted a good chunk of my fabric stash since the holidays. That means it's time to buy again. I was pretty happy when these lovelies came in the mail. It always feels like Christmas when I get a few bundles of fabric in my mailbox. Now time to let the creative juices flow.

Happy Sewing
