I have been trying to figure out color combinations for projects lately. It's been fun raiding through my stash and seeing different colors put together. Sometimes I throw scraps in the air just to see how they fall. I love seeing the colors that seem to cling to each other and therefore inspire another great craft project.
Seeing things in motion, on people, in daily life always inspire something creative.

But more on point, I love your idea of throwing fabric in the air and seeing what pairs up! Anything would be better than what I seem to come up with sometimes! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the yellow and grey at the moment so am really feeling your first picture there. Also having a real thing for Orla Kiely and her colour combinations are gorgeous so I think I'm going to plan my next quilt around that maybe.

ReplyDeleteI have never used much gray in quilting, so your top color choices intrigue me. I am going to be starting a quilt soon using some large floral prints, not sure of the color combination yet.
