For those of you who are lovers of fabric, the name Denyse Schmidt rings heavenly bells in our ears after her invention of the Flea Market Fancy collection. That collection in my eyes is the most loved fabric of all time, she has done it again with the beautiful fabric colors and prints from her newest collection, "Hope Valley"
I had to pick up a set of this beautiful color palette to make a gorgeous quilt that inspired me SEW much. Rita over at Red Pepper Quilts is one of those people that inspire me on a daily basis. If you do not follow her blog then you should hurry over and make sure you do. She makes amazing Quilts. She also sells some of them in her Etsy shop. *wink wink* My birthday is next month. :)
Love the quilt huh? I knew you would
Rita's newest addition to her etsy shop will let you to make this beauty. As soon as I saw it, I knew what my "Hope Valley" collection would soon be. The pattern is called Bricks and Stones.
Stop by Hawthorn Threads for your own stack of Hope Valley, then head on over to Rita's Etsy Shop to pick up this beautiful pattern.
The colors are calling to me..... must go now to Quilt :)

Yes, Red Pepper Quilts is amazing. I bought her quilt pattern as soon as she put it in the store. I have a few Hope Valley fabrics--not a HUGE fan of the whole line. Not really sure why. Flea Market Fancy is amazing and they should reissue that line for sure. I have Hope Valley in one colorway. I guess I have to add the rest of the fabric and make this quilt...
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI have a question about quilting. I'm going to attempt to make a quilt out of my old tshirts from high school and college. I'm going to sew all the t-shirts together then find someone or somewhere local to finish it for me. Is there a right or wrong way for me to sew together the t-shirts for a quilt? Should I use special thread?
Please email me with any help at ebodin@circletranchdesigns.com
Thanks so much!!
