Sophia's Big Day

So remember a few weeks ago I told everyone that Sophia was turning a year old. Well these are her birthday pictures, we just got them back today. If your a mom you know that feeling that warms you heart when you see your little boy or girl all dressed up for a fun day of pictures. The day that their smile is hopefully at it's biggest ever.

The picture lady thought I was weird when I told her just to let Sophie act naturally and play. Although the photographer got quite frustrated I am sure, Sophie's pictures turned out great. I just wanted to share a few with all of you. Isn't she precious.

  1. You should let me take photos of you and Sophie together. "Mommy and Me" portraits are my favorites.

  4. Why didn't I think of that when my boys were little? How cool it is to have a natural photo instead of ones where they look like the want to cry? Very pretty dress and baby!

  5. Candid pictures are the best even if you have to take twenty and only one can be use for the blog.

  6. cute! I never understood why the photographers want babies and toddlers to pose. They wait and wait for the "perfect shot". Especially nowadays with them using digital cameras it's not like they are "wasting a shot".

  7. Treasure this time. Before you know it they are grown and have little ones of their own. Trust me, it goes faster than you think, don't blink....(stole the line from Kenny Chesney)...
